Fall Trends for Everyday Style

In this article, I'm breaking down the top 10 everyday fashion trends for Fall 2022.

Runway style and funky fashion trends are cool in the magazines but don’t necessarily work for everyday women. In this article I’m breaking down the Fall 2022 trends you can incorporate into your wardrobe today.

Let’s jump right in!

Layer your sweaters

I am all about cozy style and this trend hits me right in the feels. Layering is key when it comes to fall weather as temperatures fluctuate daily. Grab your favorite cardigan and throw it on over a comfy knit top to create the perfect fall look. It’s cute and functional for when the weather won’t cooperate.

Stock up on plaid

There is nothing like a plaid shirt to get you into the fall spirit. A plaid shirt can be worn on its own or as a layering piece. Pair your favorite plaid with a basic tank top or cami.

Off-the-shoulder sweaters

Who said cozy and sexy don’t mix? We dare you to try it. Off-the-shoulder tops were trending during the spring and summer so it’s no surprise that it’s sticking around in the fall. This trend allows you to feel a little cheeky without sacrificing the cozy warmth of a great sweater. I say it’s the best of both worlds.

White/Ivory Knit sweaters

A warm knitted sweater is the first fall fashion staple. Sweaters can be paired with anything and everything, so make sure you have a great sweater in your collection. You can pair it with slacks, jeans, jewelry, scarves, boots, etc. to make it look like a fresh new outfit every time.

Dark wash jeans

Dark jeans are another fall staple that everyone needs to own. I am in love with our Miranda skinny jeans for $60! A great pair of jeans doesn’t need to cost a fortune and they will last for seasons to come.

Rock a Moto Jacket

These bad boys are back this year and we were wondering where you’ve been! Moto jackets are versatile because they can be worn with jeans, skirts and even dresses. Try rocking this look with a pair of OTK boots!

Pair a cami with a long sweater

A cami is a great transitional piece and is a great way to maximize your clothing budget. Don’t pack away those cami’s at the end of summer, layer them with a cardigan to create a cozy and cute fall look.

Rock some bell sleeves

One of my favorite trends for fall is bell sleeves! I have always loved this style, and I’m so happy to see it trending this year. A bell sleeve pairs perfectly with a skinny jean to create a stand-out look.

Don’t forget the graphic tee

I’m sure you have seen them everywhere but have you jumped on the trend yet? A graphic tee is the ultimate trend this year and can feature anything from an inspirational quote to your favorite throwback artist of the 70s-90s. Nostalgia is in! Tie them in a bottom knot to give the shirt some shape to avoid a boxy t-shirt look. You can pair a graphic tee with a long sweater, moto jacket or blazer. Anything goes with this trend!

Embrace lighter shades

Fall doesn’t have to limit you to burgundy and brown. Mix up your fall style with shades of blush and lavender for a feminine, understated look. When everyone goes in one direction, I like to go in the other. There are no rules when it comes to fashion, make it your own.
